CEF Prayer and Praise Report

Teachers have been enjoying the “Teaching Topics” at each week’s training class. Lately that has included fresh ideas of how to teach the memory verse in a fun effective way. Join me in praying that the teachers and helpers would be able to carry their enthusiasm into fun and effective classes!
Cora
Monday
Training Classes – Cora, Rae, and Terry instructing – Mondays

- Pray for safety in travel to and from the training classes.
- Pray for Mona Boggs’ family as her dad requires constant care following an emergency surgery to piece together his broken hip.
Tuesday
Stearns Elementary – Kathleen Sanderson – Tuesday 2:35
- Pray for Helper Robin as she prepares to teach some of the lessons.
Merrill Elementary – Terry and Gordon Aguiar – Tuesday 1:30-2:30
- Praise – each child has been given a permission form!
- Pray for the children that have been in GNC for the last 2 years to “walk in a manner worthy of the Lord” – that they might encourage and watch out for one another as believers.
- Pray for every child 1-6 grade attending Merrill Elementary to have the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
- Pray for open doors to meet with the parents and invite the children’s families to church.
Wednesday
Chiloquin Elementary – Mona Boggs / Melodie Simms – Wednesdays at 3pm
- Praise God! A total of 25 are now registered for club (19 of those are fruits of last week’s table at the parent-teacher conferences).
- Pray that all forms that were taken by parents will return them – that would give us 40 kids
- Pray that the kids would truly “get it”
Mills Elementary – Brent and Alice Carey – Wednesday 2pm
- Praise: that Mills opened up. We received a great response at the parent-teacher conferences last week.
- Pray: All of the Mills staff. For a permanent place in the school. For a Spanish Speaking helper.
Thursday
- Pray for a helper for this club.
Bly (Gearhart) – Marty
- Pray for good turn-out again this week
- For kids to give their lives to the Lord
- God’s will to be fulfilled.
- salvation for children, committed lives to Jesus, self-control
- Shawn (16) and Austen (5) committed their lives to Jesus. They need a lot of prayer!
Bonanza Elementary – Laney Boersma – Thursday 11:00am
- Praise for successful scheduling: The school had concerns about lunch time practices. These were addressed, and now the club will be providing lunches for those who need them.
- That many children may be reached for God this year.
Friday
Keno Elementary – Doug Hallock – Fridays – 3pm
- That we’ll “regather” well after two weeks off.
- We had a great overnighter with our 4-6 graders
- That our 4-6th graders will “adopt” ministry to younger kids.
- This week is a tough one, as I have 3 full days of meetings Tuesday-Thursday
- I’m also sick with some cold/flu bug.
Weekend
- a meeting location is needed
- praise for a team of helpers!
- Pray/Praise for an additional teacher – two are interested, but we don’t have any commitments – pray for clear direction!
Cora Johnson –
- Praise for safety in travels around the county and state.
- Wisdom in planning.
Beatty – Rae Arnold –
- To keep my mind clear and understanding how God wants me to teach
- Keeping the lessons interesting and exciting for the kids.
