Monday: Training Classes – Klamath Falls @ Immanuel Baptist — 10:00 a.m. Praise for good teaching! Please keep Rae in prayer for healing from the surgery she had last week. She is doing much better! Please keep our other teachers in prayer, that the Lord will give them His strength and His Words as they teach.
Teaching Children Effectively 1 – Klamath Falls @ Immanuel Baptist – 1:00 pm -3:00 pm Lessons were on God’s grace, and on giving the invitation.
Tuesday: Merrill Elementary – Gordon & Terry Aguiar – 1:45-2:45 p.m. Praise for two children making decisions for Christ! Praise for God healing Terry’s back. Pray for each child to grow spiritually through the summer and that they might get involved in church.
Stearns Elementary – Kathleen Sanderson – 2:45 p.m. Please keep Malea in prayer, as she is sick this week. We were hoping she’d be teaching the Bible lesson today — pray that she’ll be well by next week! Also, please pray for Kathleen’s grandmother, Ella, who is having severe pain in her shoulder — she’s had a cortisone shot in the shoulder, but is not a candidate for surgery because of her age (she’s almost 97). (Kathleen lives with her grandmother.)
Wednesday: Bonanza Elementary – Laney Boersma – 11:15-Noon
Malin Elementary – Rae Arnold – 1:45-2:45 p.m. Praise for Gordon and Terry Aguiar as they are teaching the club while Rae is out, recovering from her surgery. Pray for the Buller children, and for Ceasar and Brian.
Mills Elementary — Sandi Masterson – 2:00p.m. Pray for salvation for those children who haven’t already accepted the Lord, and for growth for those who have. Pray for the children to be willing to be obedient. Pray that they would choose to read and study their Bibles. And pray for son Daniel’s safety.
Nazarene Church — Cora Johnson — 7:00 p.m. Pray for a core of teachers for the Wednesday evening children’s program as they transition from the leaders who are leaving. Pray for the many unchurched children who are attending.
Thursday:
Bly (Gearhart) – Mona Boggs – 11:30-12:15 p.m. Please pray for helper Sandy DeVries, who was bitten in the face by a dog and had 42 stitches. Also please pray that Mona will be able to find someone else to go with her to Bly to help with the club, as Sandy will have to be out for a couple of weeks. Praise that Anna wants to go to Pretraining CYIA — pray that she would be able to go and that she would see that there are other teens that are excited and willing and eager to serve the Lord. Pray that the Holy Spirit would help her be bold and choose to share Jesus with others. Pray that we would finish the GNC year strong as teachers and as students. And please pray specifically for Felix, that he would understand and that the Word would take root.
Bonanza — Laney Boersma — 11:15-Noon
Chiloquin Elementary – Sandi Masterson – 3:00 p.m. Pray for spiritual growth in the children; for travel mercies (as Sandi drives up to Chiloquin from Klamath Falls to teach the club). Fairview Elementary – Kathleen Sanderson – 2:45 p.m. Praise for a good Club last week; pray that all the children will be there this week. Lakeview Elementary (Fremont/Hay) – Cora Johnson & Renee Hathaway – 2:30 p.m. Praise for new helpers at Lakeview, Candi and her sister! Keep Cora in prayer, as she still has to travel to Lakeview frequently – pray for safe travel for her. Pray for Renee and her family.
